Spring time in the Northwest can be rainy and miserable as we all know it. This is however the most spectacular time here, as well. The Hoyt Arboretum engagement session we just had a pleasure to do last week is the perfect example of that. The beautiful forest simply comes alive with the fresh greenery in painterly streaks of evening light. Kirsten and Jon took us down to the Magnolia grove to start with. It was truly hard to leave and move on, the flowers were in full bloom, and with the sun’s low angle it was the perfect time to get as many images as we could. Our 2 hour engagement session produces an average of 100 final images, but at times like this, there were so many more we couldn’t resist . Just before the sun hid behind the canopies of the trees we made our way down the trail to the cedar forest. Again, breathtaking scenery of the majestically tall cedars and the bright shades of the maple greenery down below, simply stunning! Spring and Fall are really beautiful here, the camera really likes this seasonal light!
Give us call or shoot us an email to schedule an engagement session and brainstorm some ideas. We love fresh input!
